Rally at Governor’s mansion for a stay of execution for death row inmate Rodney Reed

Access Unlocked DFW Sunday November 10, 2019 In Austin yesterday, hundreds gather in an effort to fight for a stay of execution for Texas death row inmate Rodney Reed.

Reed was convicted of murdering Stacy Stites, in 1996. Stites was founded on the side of the road in Bastrop County, raped and strangled.

Many have stated, there was a lack of evidence, weak facts and forensic errors in the case.

Heather Stobbs the cousin of Stites, believes the wrong is in jail.

Celebrities such as Beyonce, Meek Mill, Rihanna, and Kim Kardashian have called for Governor Ben Abbott to stop the execution.

The execution of Rodney Reed is scheduled for Wednesday, November 20th.

The fifty-one (51) year-old, has always claimed his innocence.
